Conveniently close to the Fox and Rabbit pub with restaurant, in superb walking country, the cottages offer an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest. Just 4 miles away from Pickering with good shopping, restaurants and takeaways, leisure centre and swimming pool, and the famous North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. Goathland, renowned as Heartbeat’s ’Aidensfield’, is just 7 miles away, and Flamingo Land Theme Park and Eden Camp, a Second World War museum, are both within 10 miles. Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall are within 15 miles as is the coast at Whitby.
